Flying Mozart 2 (YOC 2021)

The new 10-seater gondola lift Flying Mozart 2 replaces the old 10-seater gondola lift of the same name. Together with the first section Flying Mozart 1, it provides a direct connection from Wagrain to Grießenkareck without the need to change lifts. With the new station buildings, the high-performance lift blends more harmoniously into the mountain landscape and offers significantly greater comfort.

The most noticeable improvement of the lift itself is the much more comfortable 10-seater gondolas with seats, as the predecessor had cabins with standing room only. In addition, the new cabins are equipped with comfortable individual seats with seat heating and generous panoramic glazing. The stations of Flying Mozart 2 are also new. The mid-station, in particular, which connects to Flying Mozart 1 and to G-LINK Wagrain, is being extensively redesigned. It will be set several meters deeper into the mountain, so that it visually disappears into the mountain on one hand, and on the other hand, the transfer to and from G-LINK Wagrain is conveniently possible. The mountain station of Flying Mozart 2 will be moved slightly higher, so that it is at the same elevation as the mountain station of Starjet 3, thus providing access to a larger range of slopes.
