The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau is one of the largest and most family-friendly ski resorts in Tyrol. It connects the two Tyrolean high valleys of Alpbachtal and Wildschönau. The main ski area in the Ski Juwel stretches across the Schatzberg and the Wiedersberger Horn. The highest point in the ski area is at the "Top of Alpbachtal" with the 360° panoramic tower at 2,032 m. Additionally, in Wildschönau there is the Markbachjoch/Lanerköpfl ski area in Niederau, and in Alpbachtal the Reither Kogel ski area in Reith im Alpbachtal. Oberau and Roggenboden in Wildschönau and Alpbach in Alpbachtal also offer beginner lifts.
