Parking fees in Serfaus, Fiss, and LadisDescription Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis
From Landeck, you turn off towards the Reschen Pass, or you can take the Landeck Tunnel from the Inntal Autobahn and reach Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis after about 20 km. Since the merger in winter 1999/2000, the area offers both beginners and experts everything they need for a perfect ski day.
You can access the ski dimension from Ladis, Fiss, and Serfaus. The six-person gondola "Sonnenbahn Fiss-Ladis" takes you from Ladis via a mid-station to Fiss. From here, you can either take the eight-person gondola "Schönjochbahn I and II" up to 2,436 m to reach the north side of the Fiss ski area facing the Urgtal, or use the six-person gondola "Möseralmbahn" to stay on the slopes directly above Fiss.
On the north side, snow-sure, wide, and perfectly groomed slopes await, as well as plenty of space for off-piste skiing on treeless slopes, which are accessed by the eight-seater chairlifts Schöngampbahn, 12er-Bahn, and the eight-person gondola Almbahn. All lifts have heated seats and serve runs with up to 800 meters of vertical drop, including the attractive Adlerpiste. With the Almbahn, golden eagles, chamois, and others ride along, and winter sports enthusiasts are guaranteed to be smarter when they get off than when they got on, as during the ride to the highest point in Fiss at 2,597 m, 17 of the 53 premium black gondolas each provide information about a special Alpine animal.
For a break, the rustic Schöngampalm or the elegant Zirbenhütte invite you to stop in. To return to the front side, you can take the beautiful, 10 km long Frommesabfahrt, the Schönjochabfahrt, or the Direttissima from Zwölferkopf. The detachable four-seater chairlift "Sattelbahn," accessible from the top station of the Möseralmbahn, takes you up to 2,310 m. The top station is the starting point for wonderful descents back to Fiss, but also to reach Serfaus. Here, the Jochabfahrt or the Harbalobabfahrt are especially recommended, which, together with the Mittelababfahrt, lead down to the valley to Serfaus.
Above the valley station of Serfaus, the Königsleithebahn leads up to Sattelkopf, thus reestablishing the connection to Fiss. You can also take the four-seater chairlift Puinzbahn from Möseralm to the Mittelabfahrt to Serfaus. In Serfaus, three gondolas start directly up into the ski area.
For day guests, the best entry point is between Fiss and Serfaus at the eight-person gondola Waldbahn, as from the top station you can easily ski towards Serfaus or Fiss. From Serfaus, the eight-person gondola "Sunliner" takes you back to Fiss. From the parking lots at the entrance to Serfaus, the underground village subway, an air-cushion train, stops at the church and Raika and takes you to the mountain lifts, as the village is traffic-calmed.
In Serfaus, there is a wide variety of diverse slopes and ski routes served by modern chairlifts. The detachable six-seater chairlift "Scheid" and the detachable four-seater chairlift "Obere Scheid" allow you to venture even further south into the ski area. Via intermediate and easy runs and with the eight-person gondola Pezid, you reach the Masner ski area. Surrounded by three-thousand-meter peaks, you can take the Masnerkopfbahn to the outermost and highest point in the ski area at 2,820 m.
With the two detachable six-seater chairlifts Arrezjochbahn and Moosbahn, you return to the Scheid at 2,420 m and from there descend on intermediate and advanced slopes towards Komperdell and Serfaus. Don't forget the runs of all difficulty levels at the six-seater chairlift Lawens, which takes you back to Lazid.
At Komperdell, which can be reached directly from Serfaus by the six-person gondola or via the eight-person gondola Alpkopf and a short descent, is the hub of the Serfaus ski area. Here, the new child-safe eight-seater chairlift with hoods and heated seats serves a wide and easy slope below Komperdell. Families in particular will enjoy this area, as one of the two large children's areas, the Kinderschneealm, with many conveyor belts, is also located at Komperdell.
The six-seater chairlift Plansegg and the detachable four-seater chairlift Alpkopf open up more runs around Komperdell. The short four-seater chairlift Gampenbahn-Laustal brings winter sports enthusiasts from the back slopes back to Komperdell. Two well-prepared and snow-covered valley runs lead back down to Serfaus.
With the numerous slopes and ski routes, there are so many possibilities that you don't have to take the same lift or run twice a day, unless you need them as a connecting lift or slope. In Serfaus, Fiss, and Ladis, there is a wide selection of après-ski venues. Highlights also include the weekly events Adventure Night in Serfaus and Nightflow Show in Fiss.
