The modern 8-seater chairlift 12er-Bahn replaces the 4-seater chairlift Zwölferbahn. The chairs of the state-of-the-art 8-seater chairlift from Doppelmayr are equipped with seat heating, weather protection covers, and child safety features. Of course, the lift also receives new station buildings in a modern design. The valley station of the new lift on the northern side of Fiss has been moved almost 200 vertical meters lower, between Zirbenhütte and Schöngampalm, making the ride about 500 meters longer. The mountain station remains at the same location as its predecessor.
