The administration building of Schmittenhöhebahn AG meets all the requirements of a low-energy house. Snowmaking is carried out in a resource-efficient manner, including snow depth measurement. Skidoos are powered by biogas. There is an electric charging station at the valley station of the areitXpress.
To make the Schmitten even more environmentally friendly, the company is the first ski resort in Salzburg to implement environmental certification according to the recognized EMAS environmental management system.
