Gastronomy (ski huts, restaurants, eating at the ski resort) Schlick 2000 – Fulpmes
The range of offerings is surprisingly varied for a ski resort of this size. From classic mountain hut dishes, soups, and hearty Tyrolean specialties to burgers and pizza. And the quality is right, too. Most huts are of a manageable size, which naturally encourages the proverbial conviviality on the Schlick.

Mountain hut tip
Galtalm
At slope 13 at the Galtbergbahn at 1680 m
The Galtalm is located in a very sunny spot in the Schlick 2000 ski area. From the sun terrace, you have a magnificent view of the Stubai Valley. The rustic parlors with warming stoves invite you to linger. At the Galtalm, Tyrolean specialties are served. The dishes are prepared with high-quality ingredients sourced locally without long transport routes. The bread comes fresh daily from the local bakery, the meat from regional farms, and the game products from their own hunting.
Froneben Alm
A little below the mid-station on the valley run and toboggan track at 1,306 m
The Froneben Alm, run by Lukas Rasinger, is a true family business. Here, everything is freshly prepared, and most of the products come from their own farm. While the Tyrolean inn culture is clearly cherished here, the menu is quite varied: from excellently crafted burger variations to hearty soups like the homemade beef broth with Kaspressknödel and Tyrolean Speckknödel. Inside, the Froneben Alm is very cozy, while outside a wonderful sun terrace with panoramic views awaits. On night tobogganing evenings, it is also open in the evening.
Zirmachalm
On the way to the Zirmachbahn valley station at 1,935 m
The Zirmachalm, part of Andreas Stern's hut empire, does without self-service, greatly increasing the coziness. It’s already quite inviting, with a magnificent tiled stove inside and a sun terrace outside offering the best views of the slopes. Hearty Tyrolean inn cuisine completes the experience, making it a popular spot for a break.
Sennjochhütte
Next to the mountain station of the Sennjochbahn at 2,225 m
As the highest hut in the Schlick 2000 ski area, the Sennjochhütte naturally enjoys a spot in the sun. The sun terrace and ice bar are popular all day long. A good selection of soups and classic hut dishes, from bratwurst to Germknödel.
