The ski resort Salzberg – Goldlauter (Suhl) is located in the Thuringian Forest (Thüringer Wald) (Germany, Thuringia (Thüringen)).

For skiing and snowboarding, there are 1.5 km of slopes and 2 km of ski routes available. 1 lift transports the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 600 and 836 m.

The Goldlauter ski area on the Salzberg probably has the most challenging and steepest slope for skiers and snowboarders in Thuringia. The view from the mountain station offers breathtaking vistas of the Thuringian Forest. Cross-country skiers can explore the region from the mountain station of the winter sports area. The Alpine Skiclub Goldlauter also operates the lift lodge, where you can recharge and warm up after skiing and snowboarding.
