The Pitztal offers several cross-country ski trails. There is a high-altitude trail at Rifflsee as well as a high-altitude trail on the Pitztal Glacier, both of which are relatively snow-sure. In the valley at Mandarfen, there are several trails with a total length of about 30 km. Altogether, there are over 70 km of cross-country ski trails available throughout the Pitztal.

High-altitude trail Rifflsee
The trail begins just below the Rifflseebahn mountain station. There is no direct fee for using the trail. However, to access the Rifflsee high-altitude trail, you need to purchase an ascent and descent ticket. All other trails in the valley are free of charge.
