A dedicated hydroelectric power plant is operated, generating green energy that is fed into the grid. All facilities and snowmaking systems are thus also powered by hydropower. The resort promotes gentle tourism and restricts access to forest protection zones. A ski bus runs daily from Liezen to Riesneralm and back.
