The winter sports resort is about 6 km southwest of the town of Revelstoke off the Trans-Canada Highway. The ski resort, with its long tradition, is well-known for having the biggest lift accessible vertical difference in North America - 1,713 m. Modern lifts transport visitors quickly up to slopes for skiing and snowboarding. Groomed slopes of all difficulty levels are found throughout the ski resort. Various glades and bowls with unprepared powder runs, helicopter and cat skiing complete the offering for advanced skiers. Freestylers can have their fun in the snowpark and beginners can practice in the base area. A snow tubing area offers additional fun. Accommodations with ski-in/ski-out and multiple restaurants and bars are found in the Revelstoke Mountain Resort Village located directly at the winter sports resort.
