Several ski buses operate on the Ramsau Plateau and transport visitors to the ski resort. Various buses also provide a link from Schladming and Filzmoos to the ski resort. Skiing through the forest is prohibited and the resort follows a policy of gentle tourism.

  The nearest train station is in Schladming. Bus connections run from there to Ramsau am Dachstein.

• The Ramsau WinterCard provides access to a very good public transport network. The ski bus runs from Filzmoos (Province of Salzburg) over the Ramsau Plateau to Schladming, Haus im Ennstal and to the base station of the Dachstein Glacier.
