1/7 Ski lifts/ropeways Pitztal Glacier (Pitztaler Gletscher)
With the Gletscherexpress, an underground funicular, you can reach the glacier ski area in just 8 minutes. Within the ski area itself, guests are mostly transported by gondola lifts and a chairlift. The Wildspitzbahn quickly takes you to the highest point in Austria accessible by lift, making it also the highest cable car in Austria. However, the nearly 2 km long Brunnenkogellift requires some stamina. For beginners, there is also a platter lift and a covered conveyor belt at the mountain station of the Gletscherexpress.
