Runs/ski slopes Patscherkofel – Innsbruck-Igls

Innsbruck’s home mountain offers an interesting mix of easy, intermediate and difficult slopes. Several attractive runs lead alongside the Patscherkofelbahn lift (10-person gondola lift) down to the valley, covering an altitude difference of almost 1,000 metres. The middle station provides extra variety. There are also large beginners’ areas and several practice areas. The Patscherkofel was the venue for the alpine skiing competitions at the Innsbruck 1964 and 1976 Olympic Games. Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy impressive panoramic views over Innsbruck, the Stubaital and Inntal valleys and the Nordkette mountain range opposite.
