The Oberhundem winter sports center was located right on the Rothaarsteig near the Rhein-Weser-Turm. The slope in the Oberhundem ski area was particularly suitable for families with children and for beginners. Skiing and snowboarding were possible until the evening hours thanks to a floodlight system.
