For skiing and snowboarding, there are 35 km of slopes available. 16 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,530 and 2,400 m.
From Las Trancas, you drive about 15 minutes on an unpaved road to the Nevados de Chillán ski area (formerly known as Termas de Chillán). You can park near the hotels or drive a bit further up where there are many more parking spaces. Nevados de Chillán features one of the longest runs in the world and was home to the first snowpark in South America.
