The Myoko Akakura ski resort is located on the eastern flank of Mount Myōkō (2,454 m). It consists of two areas: Akakura Onsen and Akakan, which also became known under the former names Akakura Kanko and Shinakakura. The slopes for skiing are mainly classified as easy and intermediate. Freestylers can let off steam in the fun parks. For freeriders, the ski area offers access to off-piste terrain.
