The Mt. Hotham ski resort offers ideal training opportunities for your first turns with the Big D quad chairlift and the magic carpets. Beginners will also feel comfortable at the The Summit quad chairlift and the Trainer platter lift. Those who are already confident on skis can also use the slopes leading to the Road Runner quad chairlift and the connecting trails at the Heavenly Valley and Village quad chairlifts. Other parts of the Mt. Hotham ski area are less suitable for beginners. The local ski school offers ski lessons for children, teenagers, adults, and private lessons.
