Young winter sports enthusiasts are well taken care of in Lachtal. Right next to the valley station of the Lachtal chairlift, there is the large children's area "Kinderlachtal" with practice lifts. Those who are a bit more adventurous can take the Hebert lifts right next door. Children up to six years old ride for free when accompanied by their parents. Childcare is provided by the Skischule Brunner/Lachtal.

The Kinderlachtal is an ideal children's area with a magic carpet and rope lift. Here, little ones can learn to ski in a protected and safe environment. A mini slalom, a figure course, and a wave track provide plenty of fun.
