The Tyrolean ski resort is located at the Kühtaisattel at a snow-sure altitude of 2020 m. The Kühtaisattel is a Tyrolean Alpine pass that connects the Sellraintal with the Ötztal and Nedertal valleys. Accordingly, you can travel to Kühtai from both sides. Both mountain roads are well developed, but you should expect significant inclines. Snow chains may be necessary during snowfall.

The drive from the city of Innsbruck to Kühtai takes only about 40 minutes. If you are arriving from Germany via Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald, you can reach the ski resort without paying tolls. There are several free parking lots at the various entry points.

• Two regular bus lines run to Kühtai. One bus line connects Kühtai with Innsbruck and another with Silz/Ötztal Bahnhof. The buses also serve as free ski buses. A free ski bus regularly connects the Kühtai ski area with the Hochoetz ski area.
