Below the Sonnwendjoch, skiing is possible at the two practice lifts Taxberg and Wittberg. The small Kramsach ski area is ideal for beginners and children. The Kramsach winter sports area is located on the edge of town, right next to the valley station of the chairlift to Sonnwendjoch. Ski tourers climb the Sonnwendjoch when there is sufficient snow.
