Weißseejochbahn (YOC 2021)

The new 10-seater gondola lift opens up new slopes and off-piste runs at Weissseejoch (3,044 m). The modern Weissseejochbahn is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, with the design and colors of the gondolas and station buildings chosen to blend harmoniously into the landscape.

The valley station of the new Weissseejochbahn is located just west of the mid-station of the Ochsenalmbahn. The mountain station is situated southeast of the Weissseejoch, right on the ridge at the border between Austria and Italy. The facility features advanced technology: the cabins are stored on multiple levels in the valley station, saving space and eliminating the need for an additional building. The mountain station is equipped with a photovoltaic system, allowing the Weissseejochbahn to generate its own electricity for operation 365 days a year.
