Kappl calls itself the sunniest ski resort in the Paznaun region. Thanks to the south-east orientation of the slopes, they are indeed bathed in plenty of sunshine. In Kappl, you’ll find slopes of all difficulty levels. The runs are generally very wide and spacious. Most of the slopes are of intermediate difficulty. However, advanced skiers will also get their money’s worth with several challenging slopes, ski routes, and a large freeride area. Beginners can enjoy a large practice area at the mountain station of the gondola lift.

A long, intermediate slope leads to the valley station in Kappl. Without lift connection, a ski route leads to the districts of Oberhaus and Hof.

The start of the Lattenabfahrt is at the mountain station of the Alblittkopfbahn. From here, the impressive Lattenabfahrt leads into a scenic valley. Since the 2014/15 season, the Lattenabfahrt has been equipped with snowmaking facilities.
