The Kaltenbronn ski area is very manageable. Children can even venture out on their own here. The staff assist with using the lifts, and it's impossible to get lost. The ski clubs of the surrounding communities also offer ski courses upon request.
On the opposite slope, there is also a particularly beautiful toboggan run, which is secured with a safety fence by the road in case someone goes too fast.
If you not only want to be active but also learn something, you can visit the Kaltenbronn Information Center next door to find out more about the Northern Black Forest Nature Park and its animal and plant life.
