The traditional winter sports area near Hof is served by drag lifts. The slopes for skiing and snowboarding have gradients of up to 40%. The slope at Hofeck 1 is FIS homologated. The Hofeck ski area is connected to the cross-country ski trail network and the winter hiking trails of Bernau in the Black Forest. From the valley station of the ski lift, snow groomers run to the Krunkelbachhütte with the 3.5 km long toboggan run.
