Gastronomy/Eating at the ski resort Hemavan

You can stop for a break at the Hemavan Gondol and Centrumliften base stations in the ski resort of Hemavan. Additional restaurants can be found higher up in the ski resort. The highlights are the Björk, just below the mountain station of the Hemavan Gondol, and the rustic mountain hut Folkes Fjällcafé. Hemavans Högfjällshotell is another option for a break. You can warm up in heated cabins and at open fire pits.

Björk – Topprestaurang & Fjällbar

Below the mountain station of the Hemavan Gondol at 730 metres

The Restaurant Björk is the highlight in Hemavan. You can enjoy culinary delights and a beautiful view of the scenery here. This architectural masterpiece in a very Nordic style with lots of wood is unique in the region. In fine weather, you can sit on the sun terrace.

Folkes Fjällcafé

At the base station of the Kungsliften at 770 metres

The Folkes Fjällcafé is named after the legend of Folke Edvall and is the highest restaurant in the ski resort of Hemavan. You can enjoy the great view and a freshly grilled burger in the rustic lounge or on the sun terrace here. The coffee, hot chocolate and sweet treats are, of course, highly recommended.
