The ski resort of Hemavan is situated in the province of Västerbotten in northern Sweden. The E12 Umeå-Mo i Rana (Blå vägen) European route (motorway) runs directly through Hemavan. This allows quick and easy access to the free car parks from the E12. The ski resort even has its own airport with connecting flights to Stockholm. Hemavan airport is just 700 metres from the Centrumliften.
