Innovations Hahnenkamm – Höfen/​Reutte

New reservoir in the Hahnenkamm mountain area

A new reservoir is being built at an altitude of 1,720 m in the Hahnenkamm mountain area, which will hold 37,000 cubic meters of water for technical snowmaking. This system is also being expanded. Commissioning will take place after the 2022/23 winter season. The costs amount to around 6.5 million euros.
During the summer season, the reservoir can be used as a mountain lake, thus enhancing the attractiveness of the Hahnenkamm mountain area.

Reuttener Seilbahnen is now becoming Bergwelt Hahnenkamm

The entire Hahnenkamm area, with its existing infrastructure of cable cars and ski lifts, hiking trails and facilities, and our regional partners with their huts and alpine pastures, offers us incredible potential for further development of a unique mountain world.

From these ideas, the Bergwelt Hahnenkamm was created.
