Since almost all hotels are located directly on the slopes, you can leave your car parked during your ski holiday. In addition, free ski buses are widely promoted throughout the Ötztal valley. Slopes with insufficient snow are closed off and skiing in forests is prohibited. The Ötztal Nature Park is home to a number of particularly protected and scenic areas, including the mountains surrounding Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.
