Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Grand Targhee

The Grand Targhee ski area is very popular among advanced skiers. There are many difficult and very difficult runs on Fred's Mountain and Peaked Mountain. Grand Targhee is especially known for its freeride options. A large part of the ski area offers runs through open forests, and there are many untouched powder slopes. Due to the frequent snowfall during the winter season, you can almost always find good powder conditions.
