Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Grand Targhee
The Grand Targhee ski resort is very popular with experts. There are lots of difficult and very difficult slopes on Fred's Mountain and Peaked Mountain. Grand Targhee has a particular reputation for its freeride options. Gladed runs can be found over a large area of the ski resort and there are lots of untouched powder slopes. Due to the many snowfalls during the winter season, the powder conditions are almost always good.
