No snow parkDescription Golm
The first ski area in Montafon is Golm. From Vandans (650 m), the eight-seater gondola lift (Golmerbahn) takes you via the first mid-station, Latschau (1000 m), and the second mid-station, Matschwitz (1520 m), up to Grüneck at 1890 m. From Matschwitz, the eight-seater gondola is accompanied by the detachable four-seater chairlift Matschwitz.
From Grüneck, you can return to the second mid-station via an easy run and two intermediate runs, or after a short descent, take the detachable six-seater chairlift Rätikonbahn up to the highest point in the ski area at 2110 m. From here, you can access all the runs in the area; through a ski tunnel, you reach the difficult Diabolo run at the Außergolmbahn.
At the top station of the six-seater chairlift Hüttenkopf, the easy run No. 5, the Außergolm run, branches off. The Bubble Außergolm provides access to the only difficult run called Diabolo on treeless slopes. You can return through the ski tunnel with the help of a conveyor belt or via a connecting trail to the base station of the six-seater chairlift Hüttenkopf. Alternatively, you can glide directly to Matschwitz via another connecting trail. At the Hüttenkopfbahn, there is an intermediate run that leads over open terrain in the upper section and then through a forest clearing.
At the top station of the Golmerbahn, beginners can practice at the Sücka platter lift. The valley run down to Latschau is an easy slope, and further down to Vandans, there is a wide, intermediate run. At the base station in Vandans, there is also the Innerbach practice lift for beginners. The Golm ski area offers skiing and snowboarding fun for young and old on almost treeless slopes (uphill from the second mid-station).
Thanks to excellent snowmaking, the valley run down to Vandans is almost always possible, giving you over 1400 vertical meters to ski in one go.
