Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows

Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Golm

The required energy is sourced from 100 percent environmentally friendly power. The Hüttenkopfbahn lift is the world's first photovoltaic chairlift - a third of the energy required for its operation is generated by solar power. With this progressive solution, Doppelmayr is setting another milestone for modern cable car technology and taking an important step towards a sustainable future. Public transport using ski buses and trains is promoted through cooperations and special offers. Charging stations for electric vehicles are provided at the base station in Vandans and the middle station in Latschau. Snow depth is measured to ensure snow is produced only where required. Emphasis is placed on regional produce in the restaurants. Protection and conservation areas for wildlife and plants are indicated. Golm is a climate-neutral ski resort. CO₂ emissions that cannot be prevented are compensated through aid projects.

Public transportation/on-site mobility

  • Train connection
From Vandans train station, you can take the ski bus to the Golmerbahn 1 lift (3 minutes), or from Schruns train station, you can take the ski bus to Latschau to the Golmerbahn 2 lift (11 minutes).
  • Comprehensive ski bus network
  • Scheduled buses
  • The entire Montafon region is linked by a network of ski buses, and ski buses therefore run to the base station in Vandans and Latschau middle station.
