Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Gargellen
Advanced skiers are in excellent hands at the Gargellen ski area. There are wonderful off-piste descents to discover. Two difficult slopes and numerous challenging ski routes will make any expert's heart beat faster. The variant descents Nidla (500 meters of vertical, right next to the slope, facing northeast), Spielmannkopf, and Madrisa Steilhang are especially popular with freeriders. Thanks to the high altitude, the ski routes are very snow-sure and offer the best powder conditions well into spring. The Gargellen ski area is also an ideal starting point for ski tours.
