Access Galtür – Silvapark & on-site parking

The Galtür ski resort lies in the back area of Paznaun (or the Paznaun Valley). It is about 35 km on the Silvretta highway into the Paznaun Valley from the Pians/Paznaun/Ischgl exit of the Arlberg expressway. The road leads slightly uphill and passes See, Kappl, Ischgl and Mathon. The beginning of the ski resort is located behind Galtür in the district of Wirl at about 1600 m. There is plenty of parking (free of charge) directly at the Birkhahn feeder lift.

Winter Closure

The Silvretta-Hochalpenstrasse is closed during the winter. The toll road from Partenen in Montafon to Galtür is only open during the summer.
