The Filzmoos ski area is located in the northeastern Pongau region of Salzburg province, at the foot of the Dachstein and Gosaukamm mountains. Situated about 70 km south of Salzburg, the drive from there takes only about 50 minutes. From the Tauern Autobahn A10, take the Eben im Pongau exit, and a local road leads directly to Filzmoos. After just 8 to 11 kilometers, you reach the entry points in Neuberg or Filzmoos. With a ski ticket, parking is free of charge. For day visitors, the recommended entry point is at the six-seater chairlift sixpack Mooslehen.
