With its high-altitude cross-country trails and valley trails, Filzmoos is a great destination for cross-country skiers.

The Papageno gondola lift provides easy access to the high-altitude trails on the Roßbrand. You simply need to pay for the return trip up and down the mountain. At 1,600 metres, you can find 16 kilometres of ideally prepared high-altitude cross-country trails (classic and skating). From the snow-reliable cross-country trails on the high plateau, skiers can enjoy an amazing panoramic view of 150 imposing summits and a romantic winter idyll. The Schörgi Alm and Radstädter Hütte provide refreshments. The Langlaufhaus cross-country cabin has changing facilities, toilets and ski lockers.

Around Filzmoos and Neuberg, you can also find some additional varied cross-country trails in the valley (classic and skating).

• Rossbrand high-altitude cross-country trail circuit 3

  For ambitious cross-country skiers, the trail from the mountain station of the Papagenobahn lift leads above the Radstädterhütte to the summit of the Roßbrand. Skiers can look forward to conditions similar to those in a Scandinavian forest and a 360 panoramic view on the high plateau.
