Since 2011, Donovaly provides one of the largest children's areas (the Funpark) in Europe. The ski resort is very family and child-friendly. There are many easy slopes on the Záhradiste side. Additional highlights are a flood lit toboggan run, a skating rink and the Ice Camp.
