Since 2011, Donovaly has offered one of the largest children's areas (called Funpark) in Europe. The ski resort is very family- and child-friendly. There are many easy slopes on the Záhradiste side. Other highlights include a floodlit toboggan run, an ice rink, and the Ice Camp.
