Beginners Dachstein West – Gosau/Russbach/Annaberg
Beginners can learn to ski very well in Gosau, Gosau-Hintertal, Russbach, and Annaberg-Astauwinkel thanks to the numerous conveyor belts and practice lifts in the valley. In Annaberg-Astauwinkel, the Donnerkogel gondola provides access to an ideal practice area. On the mountain at Hornspitz, there are also two practice lifts, which can be reached via the feeder lifts from Russbach and Gosau. Otherwise, the slopes higher up in the ski area and the valley runs are mostly of intermediate difficulty and not suitable for complete beginners. In all three locations, there are plenty of ski instructors available to teach beginners how to ski.
