The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Dachstein Glacier (Dachsteingletscher)
In the ski area on the Dachstein Glacier, there is a challenging slope that leads down to the Mittersteinbahn. At the Schladminger Gletscherlift and below the Mittersteinbahn, there are also several short runs in deep powder. However, the Dachstein Glacier is an ideal starting point for numerous ski tours.
A highlight for freeriders is definitely the descent through the Edelgrieß into Ramsau. The start of this infamous run can be reached via a 20-meter ladder and the Rosmarie-Stollen from the Austriaschartenlift. This descent is only suitable for winter sports enthusiasts with alpine experience and the appropriate safety equipment!
- some freeride/deep snow areas
- no mogul slopes
- no extremely difficult, steep and unprepared runs (Double Diamonds)
