Description Christlum – Achenkirch

From the parking lot, the detachable four-seater chairlift with weather shields, Christlum-Express, starts its journey, accompanied by the Riederberg double chairlift, up to the 1,300 m high Grumetboden. The double chairlift ends a little earlier.

Here you’ll also find practice lifts and an ideal practice area for beginners. The Mosen drag lift takes you from Grumetboden to the easy Mosenabfahrt, the intermediate Nordhangabfahrt, and the challenging Nordabfahrt, which leads all the way down to the valley. The Nordhang drag lift pulls you back through the forest to the start of the runs.

From Grumetboden, you can ski down a bit and reach the two almost parallel Christlum-Gipfellifte: a double chairlift and the modern Cabrio Flitzer, a detachable six-seater chairlift with weather shields. From the very top, intermediate and advanced runs lead down to the valley.

The runs below the six-seater chairlift are nice and wide, offering plenty of space for carving. If you keep to the far right from the top, you’ll reach the easy Brandtalpiste and the drag lift of the same name. This is also where you’ll find the DinoJet, a platter lift for children.

The easy Brandtalabfahrt leads through the forest, and from the base station of the drag lift, you can also take a connecting trail to the Südabfahrt. The Südabfahrt, an intermediate run, leads from Grumetboden down past the Christlum Alm to the base station. From every lift, you can ski directly down to the valley without having to push at all.

After skiing or snowboarding, it’s recommended to stop by the umbrella bar at Christlum Alm or head straight to the Skilehrerstüberl or Christlum Salettl at the base station for some après-ski.
