At the Green Chair lift and the Barney Handle Tow rope lift, beginners will find some very easy and wide slopes right in the base station area. Here, they can perfectly practice their first turns. The Huckleberry Chair also offers easy, wide, and long forest runs. Beginners can even go up towards Gravenstafel Mountain as far as the mid-station. From there, the very easy slopes North Run and Easy Way lead back down to the base station. The slopes at the Tamarack Chair, at North Peak, and the Chutes (steep gullies) are off-limits for beginners.
