Castle Mountain is located in the middle of a beautiful, natural, mountain environment in Alberta. The ski resort makes a great effort to minimize their effects on nature. There are no snow cannons and slopes are only opened when there are sufficient levels of snow. They recycle garbage and replace old machines with efficient motors.
