The Cardrona ski resort is located between Wanaka and Queenstown in the New Zealand Alps. All slopes for skiing and snowboarding are easily accessible by chairlifts. Beginners will find easy runs in the area of the McDougall’s Express Chondola. The rest of the ski area consists almost exclusively of intermediate and advanced slopes. Freeriders will find interesting powder runs in various parts of the Cardrona winter sports area. Freestylers can enjoy themselves in several snow parks.
