For skiing and snowboarding, there are 0.4 km of slopes available. 1 lift transports the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 570 and 615 m.
The Balsberg ski area is especially suitable for families with children, beginners, and those returning to skiing and snowboarding. A small fun park complements the offerings in the Balsberg winter sports area. Skiing and snowboarding are also possible in the evening thanks to a floodlight system. Near the Balsberg ski area, there is a cross-country ski trail, a natural toboggan run, and a winter hiking trail. Unfortunately, the old Balsberg lift, which led to the summit, has been dismantled.
