At Bald Mountain, families with young children will find the Kinderspielplatz practice area with a conveyor belt at the River Run Plaza base station. Some slopes on the mountain are designated as Family Areas and are therefore easy and well-groomed. In general, families are in good hands at Sun Valley’s Dollar Mountain ski area, located about 4 km away. There, you’ll find an excellent selection of easy, wide slopes and plenty of space to practice.

The practice slope Kid's Place is located right at the River Run Plaza valley station. A conveyor belt and a very easy slope are available here.
