Description Bad Kleinkirchheim

The best way to start your ski adventure in Bad Kleinkirchheim is by taking the Kaiserburg six-seater gondola up to the Kaiserburg. Up here, above the tree line, two drag lifts operate, providing access to mostly difficult and intermediate slopes. The FIS K7 Franz Klammer run also starts from the Kaiserburg and leads directly back to the base station of the Kaiserburgbahn. Alternatively, you can ski down and take the double chairlift from the mid-station, or from the valley take the detachable Maibrunn four-seater chairlift and another drag lift up to the Strohsack. From here, numerous beautiful, wide forest runs lead down to the valley.

The Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area also includes the St. Oswald sector. From the Maibrunn run, you can reach the base station of the Sonnenwiesenbahn via a ski route that passes through an underpass. From there, you take the double chairlift in two sections and then a drag lift up to the Priedröf or the Nockalm. Alternatively, you can take a four-seater gondola directly up to the Nockalm. From the Nockalm, two four-seater chairlifts and a drag lift take you over the Wiesernock, Schartenalm, and Spitzegg to St. Oswald. Since winter 13/14, the new Millstätter See Bahn four-seater chairlift and a new slope have been available at Wiesernock. From St. Oswald, the Brunnachalm eight-seater gondola ascends the mountain. With the help of several drag lifts and four-seater chairlifts, you can make your way back over to the Nockalm. Now you can ski directly down to Bad Kleinkirchheim. After passing under the road, the short Trattniglift takes you up, allowing you to easily glide over to the Maibrunnbahn. From the top station of the Maibrunnbahn, you can also return to the Kaiserburgbahn via the Franz Klammer World Cup run.
