Environmental protection plays a major role in Aspen Snowmass. Public transportation is strongly promoted. All four ski areas are perfectly connected by free ski buses. Waste is separated in the ski area. Unfortunately, in some restaurants, food is still served on disposable tableware. The ski area is located in the White River National Forest.
