Slope offering, variety of runs at the ski resort Altastenberg

The Altastenberg ski carousel offers the only FIS-homologated slalom slope in the Sauerland with the FIS-Slalomhang. The two parallel slopes also have plenty of bite. On the other hand, the Kapellenhang and Schwedenhang offer gentle slopes, and the open terrain around the Brüchetal provides the chance for a powder turn or two when there's fresh snow. The Westfalenhang II features classic forest runs, ski trails to Westfalenhang I, and the bypass around the steep slope completes the profile. One drawback is the poor connection to the Schwedenhang. From the steep slope, you have to walk about 120 meters across the sports field on both the way there and back.
