Ski resort Gudauri

Gudauri is a growing resort, enchanting visitors with its wealth of opportunities for an active holiday in the mountains, unparalleled views, amazing colors, festive atmosphere, and the warm welcome which awaits its guests. Gudauri is situated 75 miles from Tiflis, near Cross Pass, at an altitude of 7205 feet above sea level. The ski season in Gudauri runs from December to mid-April. The snow on the slopes gets up to 5 feet deep. The weather is always warm and sunny, even though the resort is located high up in the mountains.

Gudauri has around 60 km of tracks with different levels of difficulty, marked and prepared using snowcats. For professionals there are the slalom tracks, the giant-slalom, the super-giant slalom, and the speed slope. All of the tracks are FIS certified. Gudauri is also renowned for its freeriding opportunities down the virgin slopes. The deep snow and the absence of stones and any avalanche risk make Gudauri the Mecca of freeriding.
