The slope preparation is excellent.
On the Mitterstein and Lawinenstein, the grooming is done with cable winches in order to achieve optimal slope conditions on even the steep slopes. The easy slopes are also always in top condition.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
The best place to access the ski resort is at the Tauplitz I lift in Tauplitz. You can also park in Bad Mitterndorf and take the ski bus to the new Mitterstein lift. Those that wish to do so can drive on the Tauplitz Alm Alpenstrasse to the Mitterstein lift and park there. The toll is not applicable with a valid ski pass.
